Cat's claw is a woody vine that grows wild in the Amazon rainforest and other tropical areas of Central and South America. Its thorns resemble a cat's claws.
Cat's claw is believed to have antioxidant properties, which helps the body eliminate free radicals that damage cells. Free radicals contribute to many health problems. Antioxidants can help neutralize free radicals and may reduce, or even help prevent, some of the damage they cause.
