Extra Virgin, Certified Organic
Our Coconut Oil is not hydrogenated, containing only pure unadulterated Coconut Oil. It is a healthy form of saturated fat that does not elevate ?bad? (LDL) cholesterol and has the most Medium Chain Fatty Acids of any oil in nature.*
Not all fatty acids are alike. Lauric acid, for example is a "good" saturated fatty acid.* An analysis of 60 cholesterol clinical trials¹ shows that the lauric acid in coconut oil helps maintain cholesterol levels that are already within the normal range, as measured by the ratio of total cholesterol to "good" (HDL) cholesterol.*
The lauric acid and monoglycerides in mother's milk help the immune system of the new-born baby. The same lauric acid and monoglycerides in coconut oil may help support the adult immune system.*
By maintaining a healthy intestinal flora, coconut oil may help contribute to a healthy gastrointestinal tract.*
