There are several forms of EDTA on the market. Wonderlabs' EDTA is an amino acid (Ethylenediaminetetracetic acid disodium) which we refer to as EDTA disodium chelate. This is a special form of EDTA that Wonderlabs uses to manufacture its EDTA capsules. The advantage of Wonderlabs' form of EDTA is that it is the most acid resistant of all the other forms.
